The 22nd edition of the Granada International Poetry Festival, to be held from May 4 to 9, will bring together leading literary figures from twelve countries in a multicultural and interdisciplinary program featuring readings, workshops, and activities at venues throughout the city and province. With authors such as Mircea Cărtărescu, Billy Collins, Ana María Shúa, and Luis Alberto de Cuenca, the festival strengthens its role as an international cultural landmark. It will also incorporate music—with artists including Carmen Linares and Jorge Pardo—and pay tribute to Saint John of the Cross, while making poetry accessible to a wide range of audiences and helping position Granada in its bid to become European Capital of Culture 2031.
